Teams will focus on player development for our high school an college developmental programs, with a concentration in player development on and off the field.

Details
 
* Tryouts will be held for 10U, (46/65), 11U,(50/70) 13U (60/90), 14U,15U,17U, 18U (If you played 13U for the summer season you have to tryout for 14U). Players are required to play up.
* Tryouts will be held at Putnam Valley Town Park for 13U and older. Aug 11th 530-730 pm
* 10U, 11U will tryout at 4D Sports. Aug 12th 530-730 pm.
* All teams will play tournaments only besides 13U they will play in 60/90 league NYEB as well as 2 tournaments.
* Players are required to wear baseball pants, and there will be a $20 fee that will cover both tryout dates.
* Teams will be picked by August 14th.
* Players attending the tryout are REQUIRED to fill out a tryout flyer at nyswarm.com. A direct link is listed below.

CONGRATS TO SWARM 17U TEAM WINNING BASEBALL HEAVEN FATHER’S DAY TOURNAMENT

 

Great pitching leads 17U Swarm past Long Island Jr. Ducks 1-0

Brendan Smith  hopes every outing could go as well as Sunday, as Brendan tossed a shutout to carry 17U Swarm to a 1-0 victory over Long Island Jr. Ducks at Baseball Heaven #3 (Yaphank, NY) in eight innings. Smith threw a Complete game shut out 84 pitches ( 8 innings, 6 K’s, 4 Hits, and 1 BB)

17U Swarm’s Brendan kept Long Island Jr. Ducks off the scoreboard for all eight innings he was on the rubber. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on four hits while ringing up six.

17U Swarm’s lone run of the ballgame came in the eighth inning on an RBI single by Luke Valentino. Luke went 2 for 4 with a double, and the only RBI in the game.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Being a part of an elite organization takes commitment, sacrifice and dedication from not just the player but also from the family.  Our sole purpose of forming this organization was to help the ball players in our area that have the aspirations to play in college and get to the next level.
